Keshi Pearls come from freshwater pearl beds. They are naturally forming, but since they come from pearl farms, there is some controversy over the use of the word "natural". Unlike other freshwater pearls, they are not seeded. These pearls are 100% thick nacre.
The shape is completely organic and irregular. The lustre is UNBELIEVABLE! They are drilled through the top. This listing is for 1 strand of pearls that is 15" long; approximately 39 beads.
Since each pearl is different, the measurements vary, but they are approximately 18mm x 25mm.
