Copper Metal Ganesh and Om Amulet Pendant (AM049)

$6.00

A charming figure of the Hindu god, Ganesh is seated on a lotus. Ganesh is very popular with Buddhists, and especially so in Thailand where there are many Ganesha alters to be found throughout the country. He is thought to be the "remover of obstacles" and brings good luck to any who need his help. His elephant trunk is curled at the end and in three of his hands, he holds the traditional symbols including an elephant prod, a noose and a bowl of candy. His fourth hand is resting on his lap.

Buddha Amulets are traditionally worn to bring protection and luck and are commonly found in Thailand at temples.
